Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be our witnesses in Jerusalem, and to all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
This means we are to witness God’s glory to the world. We are to act Christ-like in everything we do. We should spread God’s word to everyone. Jesus calls us to spread the Gospel to the world, and that is exactly what we should do. Great examples of famous people that do this are Josh Hamilton, Matt Capps, and Brian Roberts. Josh Hamilton used to be addicted to drugs and through the strength of Christ he has quit and is one of the best athletes in America. Matt Capps, the closer for the Twins, steps of the mound, takes his hat off, and prays before every pitch. Brian Roberts writes Proverbs 3:5-6 on his hat and on every ball he autographs. It doesn’t take big things for God to work in others, doing things like they do can lead to better things in other people’s lives.
Dear God, Please use us to fulfill your plan to reach all nations with the message of Jesus. Amen
