Day 13 - Tanner Chancelor, Grade 7

Tanner Chancelor-Grade 7
Matthew 6:15
“But if you do not forgive others of their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
In this verse God calls us to forgive our neighbors. If we do not forgive them why should we expect that whenever we do wrong that they should forgive us? Also God says that if we don’t forgive our neighbors of their sins that they have committed; why should He forgive us. They are no different than you or me and do not deserve any better treatment than you or me either.

Throughout the Bible, God has repetitively reminded us that we should forgive all that have sinned. It is not up to us to judge others on how they act.

Dear Lord,
Give us the strength to forgive our neighbors, just as you have forgiven us of our sins.
