“Sing to the Lord for he has done glorious things. Let this be known to all the earth.” Isaiah 12:5
Even when times are tough, we should give praise to the Lord. You could be having a disagreement with someone or even lost a loved one. God can turn what seems to be a bad situation into a blessing. Perhaps, God will turn your argument into something that will actually strengthen your relationship.
The loss of a loved one could be God protecting them from pain they would suffer through here on earth. We are like diamonds. Diamonds have to go through a lot of pressure in order to be beautiful in their gem state. Our “pressure” is the difficult things that we deal with in life.
If we have faith in Him, we will surely someday be the wonderful diamond he made us to be. We can be a witness by letting other people know how God has blessed us through these times.
Dear Lord, I pray that your Word will always be in our hearts. Let us glorify you in all that we do, even when we're under pressure or stress. Lord, let us shine for you and be a light in the darkness. In tough times, even though we may not feel like it, our faith in You is growing stronger. You have plans for our future that sometimes we can't see. We can give thanks to you always because you love us no matter what we do. Help us to always remember that. In Jesus name I pray - Amen.
